( About / 02 )
I design across screens, brands & pages and chase the thread.
( In short )

Hi, I'm Yudhi, and I tend to ask "why?" before placing anything on a canvas.

I'm a systems thinker who believes every design decision should have a purpose. My work is rooted in clean grids, thoughtful typography, and you'll almost always find a pop of colour somewhere in it.

Since 2022, I've been creating work that's simple in form, intentional, and designed to mean something to the people who use it.

still chasing the thread.

Behind the design.

01 One mistake I made.I thought if it looked good, it was good.Early on, I focused more on aesthetics than purpose. Over time, I realised that great design isn’t just beautiful, it solves a problem and creates a meaningful experience.
02 My biggest challenge.Learning to explain my design was harder than designing it.I often knew why I made certain decisions but struggled to communicate my thinking. Finding the right words has become just as important as finding the right solution.
03 One thing I'd do differently.I’d trust the design process from the very beginning.I used to jump straight into designing instead of following a clear process. Now I know every stage matters, and even the final 1% can transform a good design into a great one.
04 What design has taught me.Trust the process. Great design isn’t rushed, it’s created with patience.I’ve learned that ideas need time to grow. Sharing a design too early often means people see the draft, not the vision. I refine until it feels complete, and let the final work speak for itself.
and here's what's actually on my table.
